Hi,

My site was hammered for few hours by a spider (no id given) from 24.66.35.140

Anyone knows ANYTHING at all about it? It seems to ignore robots.txt!

Thanks

MC

Here's a few details on the owner of the IP, it's an ISP:
-------------
OrgName: Shaw Communications Inc.
OrgID: SHAWC
Address: Suite 800
Address: 630 - 3rd Ave. SW
City: Calgary
StateProv: AB
PostalCode: T2P-4L4
Country: CA
--------------

Being an ISP, it's probably one of their customers, and you will probably have a difficult time finding out who, but most ISPs are very responsive on their abuse email addresses (i'll sticky them to you)

I know that the Camel Spider is supposed to be one of the worlds' most aggressive spiders. Apparently it will give chase if you invade it's territory.

(I'm sorry, when I saw the title I just couldn't resist;))
