I got 153 requests from 2003-06-15 07:03:27 to 2003-06-15 07:07:11 from 65.94.226.94 with a (spoofed?) useragent of Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)

whois.arin.net returns:
CustName: Bell Nexxia (Prod)
Address: 671 De la Gauchetiere
City: Montreal
StateProv: Quebec
PostalCode: H3B 2M8
Country: CA
RegDate: 2002-02-07
Updated: 2002-02-07

Anyone know anything about this spider? I'm seriously debating banning this ip.

Hi kewlbeezer. I think it's spoofed too. I went ahead and denied range (65.94.) back in March when it ended up on one of my pages with no links and from there it checked robots.txt twice. I recall thinking at the time it was looking for subdirectories that might show up in robots and I just didn't want to mess with it. The UA was "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)" then.

Edit: I meant to say the IP was 65.94.224.146 then instead of saying the UA, which is obviously the same as the one that hit you.

Thanks for the heads up on George's site, Wilderness. That is really great. I can't begin to count the times I couldn't resolve an IP name to an IP number. Thanks for the other thread, too.
