Here's a new one I can't find any reference to anywhere, here or elsewhere. I got a visit today from
216.93.167.106 "Vivante Link Checker (http://www.vivante.com)"

No referer given for the request. The website mentioned is essentially a splash page and nothing more. Calls itself a search engine, "coming soon to a life-style near you." The IP resolves to tyrannical.org, which has nothing but a hideous picture of a snake. I hate snakes. Why'd it have to be a snake? What's wrong with a cute little spider or something?
