This came by yesterday at 3:30 pm, first thing it did was hit the robots.txt and then crawled the rest of the site

65.94.226.152 - - [15/May/2003:15:30:54 -0700] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 3032 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)"

Hit the root, 12 minutes later it hit the robots, crawled all 17 pages, then 5 minutes later hit the root again

It shows as Bell Canada located In toronto..
Browser: MS IE 5.x
Windows 2000

I did a search for it and found nothing.

Any spider that crawls sites using a spoofed browser User-agent like this one should be banned on principle.

Worthy spiders don't spoof, they properly identify themselves, provide valid contact info, and obey robots.txt.

I get 'Sympatico in Montreal'.

The NetRange: 65.94.0.0 - 65.94.255.255 is Bell Canada
assigned around 65.94.1.1 to 65.94.254.254 is Sympatico, Montreal.

Sympatico search is powered by Google

Have no idea.

Thanks for that! What tool are you using to dig that out? ARIN does not show the detail level that you posted, it stops at Bell Canada.
