Perlscript Downloading Images

Hi,

I found a very strange perlscript downloading first 512 or 1024 bytes of images. Sometimes it downloads the whole image about 2 sec. later, sometimes not.

It comes back after several hours for another image. Never requested robots.txt, and I've never seen someone requesting htm/html-pages under this IP. This is strange, I think.

Freaky. But it isn't the first time a libwww-perl/(whatever) UA's been up to no good. Might be bad programming, might be a bad connection, might be a bot identity crisis.

Lately, I've had dozens of snoopy attbi users up to no good. Taking images, crawling around where they don't belong. No reason that I can figure out, either. So... I sing a happy little tune and ban them. Methodically. One by one :)
