This matey atrax1.pa-x.dec.com with Mercator 1 was trying to get at my cgi-bin. Why would av want to do that? Or is this the research guys and nothing to do with AV?
Any thoughts anyone?

There is no law against cgi-bin Engine. I've got pages that are in cgi-bin that are indexed in se's.
