I'm new to all this web log stuff but spent all day looking at log files til my eyes are so dry I can't blink.

Noticed this and believe that scooter is from AV but when I went to a list of IP addresses for AV the IP on my log didnt match any.

Its 64.152.75.110

Is it supposed to match or is their no definitive list?

I have that ip adress in my list of Alta Vista spiders.
whois shows:
Level 3 Communications, Inc.

And it resolves to:
trek7.sv.av.com

There are a few useful lists out there although they can be dated.
