Hi all

I had a visit from a spider calling itself Mylinea.com Crawler 2.0. This is all I know and comes from the Webtrends report gengerated by the ISP.

Now I checked the URL and found a french host for yellowpages collections. My question is what such a site would need a spider for?

I don't read French however the Alta Vista translator does:

Mylinea is a free service which makes it possible each one to create and to manage its own directory of Web sites.
You can use this directory alone or associate it your Web site.
You can also serve to you as this directory like repertory of bookmarks on line. It is the average ideal to share your bonds.
The initial version makes it possible to manage your sites in your headings and to personalize the colors.

Mylinea also exists in Pro version (paying) where it possible to personalize your directory with 99% (you do not have any more publicity).
end of of quote.

It appears that as a result of a user listing your page (s) that the spider results.
