I am not sure about the loh, but in general - AOL spiders pages to put them in their piece of crap proxy.

The have a very complicated caching system.

It almost certainly has nothing to do with search engines.

looks like this class c netblock is partially used for administrative
purpose (nameserver, dns, cache, cachemanager etc), but
from the results of -this- [google.com] search i'd say it's just
an aol user
