No one seems to have written about this robot

This took only only file from my site, and it did not request robots.txt

According to homepage, icorus.com has been around since November 2000. "ICORUS.com strives to be the number one search engine content site in all countries, with hyperlinks to only safe rated sites around the world."

What does "safe rated" mean? My site does not have a rating.

I recall reading someplace that RSAC ratings were not really functional.
There are however other ratings standards as well for content most of which are used to limit particular sites for children or intranets.

There are even some specific browsers for Chilren

Do you think this is a browser rather than a robot, then? The portal-type directory on the homepage does not seem to be directed at children.

It is defintely a bot.
I had a visit from this bot sometime back.
I don't recall if I allowed it to continue or added to my denies.
