The best way to trap them is to pile up a stack of fresh $20's and keep repeating your favorite keywords over and over till he shows up.

I've also started seeing spiders from 209.131.48.*. *Another* new IP range...

Thats sometime how I see myself. Swap the jungle for apache logs, a spider jar with mysql, and logscanner for the net...

I've only seen from:

209.131.48.100
209.131.48.101
209.131.48.136
209.131.48.219
209.131.48.220
209.131.48.73
209.131.48.78

So far only 209.131.48.148, 209.131.48.140 and 209.131.48.220 .

But I've put all of 209.131.48.* to be safe...

66.196.99.20 seems to be the only one from that class C that belongs to Inktomi

They are all on Ink's network but that is the only one that resolves. I've only seen it three times. Could be a few tests being made before they use it in full?
