Can anybody here read Japanese?

Here's the whole line from my log:

202.13.160.44 - - [03/Mar/2002:12:36:19 -0500] "GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.0" 200 116 "-" "suzuran"

nslookup sayz 202.13.160.44 is wwwproxy4.kanazawa-it.ac.jp , which belongs to the Kanazawa Institute of Technology. Maybe a research project?

Searching Google only turned up log pages, and an "I don't know" at [mrsneeze.com...]

Yokogao Search Engine robot (Kanazawa University)

Here's the URL I have although I lost my patience trying to get a connect.
[web.kanazawa-u.ac.jp...]

The Alta Vista translator has a "Japenese to English"
[world.altavista.com...]

seems to me that surzan was discussed here recently although I didn't find anything in the archives.
You might try the Asia-Pacific section here
[webmasterworld.com...]

Personally the Japense visitors have nothing to gain by visiting my site nor, do I have anything to gain by their visits.
As a result most are denied.
