W8 Search

looks like a new small search engine?

I came across W8 Search at [w8.com...]

IP address 216.104.145.180 which resolves to n180.usww.net

Not sure about the UserAgent because I found the log listing somewhere else and there was no UA info.

Anybody have any info on this engine? I'm trying to figure out how "legit" it is, I guess.

Looks like it's just an affiliate "skin" for epilot

The database is, ummm, very short on my SERP... all bids by the looks of it.

I spoke with ePilot people before them not knowing i dealt with search engine stuff. If i remember correctly ePilot shared some of their data with the mamma search engine. All paid bids for everything. Orange County,cA based if I serve my memory right.

I've actually being seeing spiders with IPs from usww.net for awhile now... I wonder if the SE located at w8 is a skin now but planning something more for later?

OR maybe I should add them to my non-spider list.
