How useful are FFA?

Vendors of one FFA submit program write that their program submit to 1500 FFA.
As i understand they submit to heap of sites without analysis. So, for ex, if i submit my program information will fall into games sites, porno, etc. So there is very bad targeting.

Do i need this links?

I browse one of this FFa sites and that my info is avaible only for a day. In other sit it can be top of 50/100/xxx (short-term). So there is very little probability that FFA links to my site will index by search engines.

And most of FFA is a very poor design and content, have little pagerank. So link from this site will not usefull.

Do you know any positive ex of FFA actions?
Do you use FFA programs?
Can i take from FFA something except 1500 emails per day?

I would stay away from these programs.

The search engines don't like them, and if they catch you using them they will probably penalize you, or just not count the links.

It is the weight or the authority of the links that counts. This being said, if you have 1000 links that have a PR of 2, this will not help too much.

But, if you have 50 links from sites with a PR of 6+, this will have a positive effect.

Try to contact companies and ask for a link exchange with high Pr some will link to you and some not just keep on poushing is worth it and then you know you got quality links to you
