Total # of Searches in US and Int'l?

all,

i'm doing an analysis that involves a comparison vs. the total number of searches per month across all search engines - US and international.

i obtained the total number of searches in the US for december from a nielsen/netratings press release (5.1 billion), but i would love to get another source for US as well as at least one or two sources for international.

anybody have this data?
