Would you bother submitting a half finished website or wait until you have most of it complete?

Personally I'd get it going in the SE's with some inbound links.

Caveats:
1) Site, directory and nav structure must be in place and must reflect your long term plan for the site's evolution.
2) Don't let the bots index too many 'coming soon' or other kinds of very thin pages, or you might get wacked by dup filters (too many similar pages).

Any other caveats out there? :)

I launch straight away, with just a few pages.
A link from a good PR5 site gets it spidered and makes it PR4 wich gets them back.

I believe a site performs better when the engines see new content every visit, therefore I build as I go.

I never submit anywhere but dmoz
Just add finished pages though, no coming soon or dead links etc
Just the way I do it, for what it's worth
