This program is called XQASP and is located at [xde.net...]
Has anyone tried this product? Or, are there any other software solutions that will do this.
We've had some threads going regarding .asp sites. You might want to do a site search on asp. The search feature is on the top left of the page.
Here is a little bit of a current discussion:

We try to stay away from discussions about specific products as a rule, it's so often subjective, but assuming your site is IIS hosted, I am wondering if there is something server-side to provide a solution for you.
Are you using virtual hosting, or do you have control over the server configuration? Knowing that will probably be a help with getting pertinent information when someone familiar with IIS/asp comes along with a response.
Meantime, try the search for IIS, Windows2000 hosting, and asp. You should get a little insight in the meantime.
Thanks for the response. I am on a hosted server. The server is NT and I am using SQL 7. I am so used to having access to my servers for my day job, that it is fustrating having to deal with a hosted solution. My host has said that they would not support XQASP. I have seen some discussion about using SSI to accomplish this. Once again, my host does not support SSI. I am concerned about the fact that the majority of the content on my site will be dynamic .asp pages, which I am finding out that most spiders will not index. This is all new to me. I have been developing for a couple of years now, but the sites that I have been developing are primarily web-based applications that are subscription based. I have not had to worry about search engines with these sites. So, if I sound a little unaware, I am.
Thanks for any insight!
