Developing a new community/info site

Im going to develop an information site for holidays in the uk, i intend to have information, blogs & a forum so members can contribute.

Do you recommend i add the content first for the information side, or start a forum first?

Regarding content, there are only so many hours in my day, any tips on creating content or ideas on getting users to write articles on a new site?

personally i think you would need to have content on there first.

If you went with the forum first, who is going to find it, who is going to post, who is going to reply to posts etc?

If you get content up there first, which is valuable people will come back to the site. once you have some regulars those are the sort of people that could help you build up the forum community.
