Advantages and Disadvantages of No Archive

I do not want search engines copy my pages and display them as cached, so I would like to use No Archive tag, but before I use the tag I would like to know advantages and disadvantages of no archive tag and what impact it could have my website.

I'm wondering too. It seems like it would be quite straighforward but could it affect search engine results?

I've never seen or heard of the noarchive tag creating any problem. And when people first started using it, they did so wiht some real concern about its potential to impact rankings. I'm sure we'd have heard a loud cry by now if there was even a hint of trouble.
