Hello people One of our clients have a totally secure web site including the home page. Are spiders ale to pick up META and content on a secure page or is this impossible. Your comments would be appreciated.

SSL pages are DOA as far as search engines are concern. I'd make a non-secure mirror to submit. It could be on the same site, and it could be cloaked. Perhaps you could use some browser detection and redirect the humans to the secure setup, but allow the bots to feed off of the non secure pages.
