Question on mod_rewrite

Will the search engines see our pages?

I'm not familiar enough with this to completely understand what one of my team members has said and I was wondering if someone could help.

We're building a site and he wants to build pages using our mysql database and use php to write the pages when a page is called. I understand this. But, the pages written using the mod_rewrite of php will not exist until they are called and I am worried that the search enigines will not accept them as static content.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

yes it works fantastic. my programmer set it up for one of my clients.. in 3 weeks i got 12,300 pages indexed by google thx to mod-rewrite...

its sorta intricate to setup... mambo has a whole module for SE friendly urs... you can use it to creat an effective template system...

se's dont know if ur content is static or dynamic... as long as the pages are in valid HTML ur fine..

as long as u can see ur site in like a text based browser like lynx ur fine.. see google's webmaster guidlines.. for info..

Thanks for your help. I was pretty sure it was alright but your post will help me feel more comfortable about it.
