I'm about to launch my site over the next couple of weeks, at the minute I'm going to put a work-in-progress holding page up. I have my site map together - can I submit this to the engines now? or will they spider it straight away and find pages missing? also what the best way to go about submitting the map?
I'm trying to get a bit of traffic flowing to my site before launch!
