My website is number one result or in top 5 in all search engines with searching 'mysite' but for 'my site' its nowhere but only msn search users can find me like that ( sometimes)

My meta tags contains; mysite, my site, and others

OldWolf, hello.

From the info you've provided, I'm guessing that putting two words together, i.e., "mysite", may not be too common? Either that, or you've got some links to your site using your site name, or both. Point being, you're ranking for "mysite" as a keyword because it's not very competitive, and/or because people are linking to your site with that "keyword".

But, when you break the words apart, perhaps the two word phrase gets more competitive?

Basically, as a starting point, you need to make sure that more people link to you with the two word phrase you want to rank for. Just putting the two words in a META tag won't do that much for you.

Also, just as a caution, don't go too far and overdo use of that two word phrase. Overuse of keywords can cause the search engines to overlook you for those keywords. Natural occurance of the two word phrase in the titles, META tags and text of your site, plus other sites linking to you with that phrase (and other related phrases) will put you on the road to ranking better.
