Does changing of server hence IP affect SE position?

We have all sites stayed on a linux box but now thinking of moving all to another server, of cuz different IP. But we are hesitating if it would do anything harm to our current result of SE ranking and link popularity. Can anyone comment on this?

Changing IP's should not have an effect on your site's position in the SERP's. Make sure that you keep the old site up for enough time to allow the IP changes to propagate. We usually leave the old one up for several days after the IP changeover, just to be safe.

Just done it, from USA to UK host.

No effect on global SERP's whatsoever.
