I've just started with Search Engine Optimisation and I was wondering about multiple domain names? The company i've moved to have multiple domains (pointing to the same site)
Is this safe and ok as far as SEO is concerned?
Can I register all domain names with G and Yahoo?
I read somewhere that duplicate sites were bad?

The best practice in that scenerio is to take the site that has been around the longest, is already indexed and/or ranking in the SERPS and use it as your site. Then implement 301 redirects on all your other domains to point to your main site.
