This may sound like an easy question, but how do you monitor your competition's ranking. Aren't there risks in using web position pro? Is there a good way of knowing exactly what keywords they are submitting (other than view source)?

Thanks,

in a sense I don't really have competition...I am cooperating with webmasters at other orgaisations in the same (charitable) field

so what I do is get down and dirty and take a good close look at exactly what any of the bastids that rank above me are doing, then apply anything and everything I learn from that :)

Knowing what they are targeting isn't all that important really. If you are in the same business, you should automatically be targeting the same words. You won't find that from looking at search engine results. Do some keyword research and find related words. Watch your referrals and feed the search engines what they want.
