Sub Dir Pages not showing in SEs

Working on a large dynamic site with over 50k products in it, produces mixed search engine results from the very good (1st position) to the averagely indifferent!

I have setup a sub dir under the site called Static and created some semi static pages (different to the dynamic ones) - one per deepest level category on the site, and tied these all together with a sitemap style page (this page in turn is linked to by every page within the site). These pages in theory are a bit more optimised for the SEs than the dynamic ones.

Thing is - I never get a search result returned from one of these "static" pages - it's the dynamic version or nothing.

The sub dir isn't excluded via robots.txt etc - just not sure why these "better" pages perform worse?

How often does the site get crawled? Check your stats and also check the cache on G and Y to see the last date that they cached the site after you made all of the updates. Also, G may have crawled and indexed it, but not showing it yet because maybe it was too many changes to fast. Google has been very difficult lately - not like it was ever really friendly.
