Issue of 2 URLs leading to the same site

When I was setting up my sites way back when in late January/early Feb, I set up bluewidget.com to lead to skybluewidget.bloggingsite.com

Now that I realize that pointing 2 URLs to the same content may be a mistake, should I stop forwarding bluewidget.com to the blog?

PS...Bluewidget.com gets no traffic and is a lousy keyword, but it has 3 pages of google listings which lead to the blog...

What are your intentions for your sites (affiliate marketing, direct sales, etc.)?

If your bluewidget.com site isn't getting any traffic, but has three pages indexed in Google, where is your blog traffic coming from?

If you could give a little more detail, it would be easier to figure out a solution.
