Hi everyone, A simple yet complex question.

If i wanted to write up a new webpage targeting one keyword and i was to write long winded paragraphs and do heavy linking would mentioning the keyword/s say for example more than 20x harm the seo ranking.

It is not spammy the words do need to be there in that context.

Thanks for your feedback.

That would depend on how many words the page will have. How many words do you plan on having in the web page?

i'd go for about a 3-5% keyword density.

you'll not get penalised for that.

hi thanks so far - i would say there is to be around 1000/1500 words on the home page and already i am looking at keyword being used 25 times. Is this good or bad for me - Although over half of the keywords are linked and in a longer phrase?

The keyword density would be around 2% and close to 3%, not a great density to have. I suggest that you get a keyword density around 10%.
