Hi,

I am planning to change the url's of my pages.
The pages are now indicated with a number, for example 98564.htm and it's going to be for example soccer_shirt.htm

These numbered pages (98564.htm) are indexed in google, wich gives me thousands of visitors a day.

How should I handle the url change best?
Will I lose visitors?

No, you shouldn't lose any visitors if you do it right. I'm not really a techie, so I can't give you exact advice. I found this regarding 301 redirects -
[webmasterworld.com...]
