Does Google or other sites value text that is lower on a page than the immediate text? Does anyone know the actual numbers of this? Does a robot stop reading after a certain number of lines?

thx

Hi,

Does Google or other sites value text that is lower on a page than the immediate text? Does a robot stop reading after a certain number of lines?

The spiders of a search engine for reason that we'll define as "anti-spam" read ALL the text in the page reporting some lines where was found the typed keyword.

However as ranking criteria they seem to assign more relevance to the texts that contain a certain number of keywords closer to the beginning.

Does anyone know the actual numbers of this?

What do you mean?
