I am currently hoping to undertake a degree of SEO for a travel site, and I had a question surrounding landing pages i hopes someone could help me with -
At the moment, when i do a search (for example 'Keyword Phrase') my organic search listings will list [Keyword Phrase] from the travel site, but the link and the landing page from google will be my home page - If I conduct my SEO correctly, would it be possible to modify this landing page so it would point directly to the [Keyword Phrase] section of the site? I know this is easy to do in ppc, as the link can simply change, but in organic listings, will it pose a large challenge?
Many thanks and all help appreciated greatly,
- Adam

[edit reason] Removed Specifics - Please Refer to TOS [/edit]
So get anchor text backlinks for the keyword you hope and point them to the specific url and you will eventually show up for that page.
This is actually a wise thing to do because I am sure your internal page is more targetted than just your homepage. So go at it! Collect those links:)
