Will submission using sites like Ineedhits hurt your ranking on SEs?

I want to check if using sites like Ineedhits to submit your site to search engines have any drawbacks?
I've heard using software like webposition may even get your site kicked off SEs'listings.
How about the free submission by ineedhits?

Just a bit of common sense ... and I may be wrong...

But I think this isn't to much of a problem, because if it was you'd have all your competitors doing it to your site to get it thrown of... In the same sense as Google have said that submitting your site to them 30 times won't be a problem.
