Is this a worth while Expo to attend?

Been reading up on the SES Expo and it seems they are having an eXpo in Japan soon.

Was wondering has any of you guys attended this Expo in the past? Is it worthwhile?

I went there. Went to the NYC expo. I thought it was a waste of time.

Did you find that most of what they were talking about you knew already?

Or was the quality of the material that let you down?

Thanks for your advice......was gonna participate in the Japan Event but now it dosent look like it.

I'm thinking about attending an upcoming search engine conference myself. Does anyone have sessions to recommend for a web writer/optimizer? I consider myself a newbie in the arena.
