Hi,

I am looking for advice on which of the companies below to choose from.
The companies below promised to submit me to the search engines. I'm qouting them below. They are both charging a huge amount of dollars for search Engine optimization. Which one should I go for.

Company A. Custom Build Search Engine focused MasterPages for 20 keywords/keyword phrases.
Submission of MasterPages to the top tier Search Engines. We then create MasterPages to drive qualified traffic to your website, we will create multiple pages for every word and every search engine. The fact that you would have so many pages representing you on the internet assures maximum ranking and maximum traffic.

Company B. registration of 6 additional domain names and construction of 6 new web sites sending customers to your main web site

Company C

The one who will tell you not to spend another £ on this program.

Hi Mike,
I only want answers to Company A or B. Not C.

Then Company B

Because the core domain in your profile will have trouble ranking well. You would control all 6 domains that feed the site in question. Link pop from relevant domains would help improve the ranking of one of the 6. 5 domains feeding your top domain that then links to the site in your profile.

Looking over them, they could be pretty much the same program but emphasizing different aspects of their techniques in their marketing pitch. And I have some questions... for instance, who owns the domains that will be promoted? Are they offering to hold interviews with you to determine the keywords? Have they worked with others in your industry?

Like Mike, I have an uneasy feeling about both A and B and would recommend that you seek out a few more SEO contacts. You might try posting in the Commercial Exchange -more info [webmasterworld.com]

rc:

Both A & B could be the right choice IMHO after an interview as you suggested. My concern is in trying to promote an affiliate site which states in part:

"As part of our commitment to your success, and to get your business off to a flying start, we submit your AT websites to all the major search engines - to over 630,000 Links, Directories & Classified Ad sites - and provide up to 30,000 Banners Ad's linking directly to your website right across the Internet! We also GUARANTEE up to 30,000 visitors (hot prospects!) to your AT websites in your first month! Make no mistake, we'll certainly flood your website with hot prospects from Day 1!"

Hi Mike,
The promises they made, which you qouted are just in effect. I did not receive this benefit 'cos I was among the first group of people that joined. The owner of the program is a reliable and honest man, I believe he will stand by his promises.

Tobi,
The site in your profile is;
www.armchairtycoon.com/goldstar/.
This is an exact duplicate of;
www.armchairtycoon.com/.

Mike's first answer is the only correct one. The forum you are in is "Search Engine Promotion".

I see no reason to confine my answer to what you want to here, you need to hear what is correct.

I like [url snipped. NFFC] You can get as many domains and keywords you like at .35 per click rate.

jaanis, we shy away from URL's to SEO companies, hope you understand why. NFFC

Mike and rc, I'm curious as to why the misgivings?
So A is creating internal doorway pages (master pages?) and B is creating external doorways with separate URLs.
Why are they both unsuitable?
