SSI and seach engines

Does use of SSI lessen chances of listing in s engines?

If my pages are half constructed in SSI and therefore 50% the same, does it hinder the chance of them all getting listed in the search engines?

Do the bots have a vague percentage figure for similarity e.g. if 17 pages are 50% identical then it will only list one of them?

Its just SSI saves me so much time, I would hate to construct each page with more individual coding...

Some of the engines will list all the pages and not worry.

SSI I really don't think that will be a problem in getting listed.

When you say 50% the same is that the same content or same design?

Not only same coding, but same content. I have hundreds of pages with my various websites and to make it easier to maintain, use SSI to repeat information...

Will it affect the possibility of getting listed in SEs?

No I think you will get listed But I think some of the engines will spider the pages and then might decide that the pages are spam.

Does that mean all my pages we get delisted? Or just the repeated ones?

Obviously each s e works in a different way, but what's the general way they operate?
