Here I've gone and made a site basically for europeans and the major search engine over there (I forget which one) doesn't allow my dot com. Is there a legit way around this? I've just spent 3 months on this site.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Hi

When I buy domains I buy the .co.uk and the .com's

I do this automatically.

Can you not buy the .co.uk or other euro domains.

The euro market is divided by countries so a .co.uk may not work in the Italian or Swedish market etc for country specfic SE.

Well, both .net & .org are available. I'm looking for a solution that won't involve any more expense. I have a .us but will the SE index links to .com?
Creative solutions needed.
Thanks
