I submitted my site to most of the searchengines on December 22nd. The only way my site appears in a search on google is if I type out the site name like this "examplesite" If I try to seperate the 2 words and search my site is no where to be found. I try searching some of my other keywords and it still doesn't appear. I went through 70 pages with my top keyword and still hadn't found my site. Is this normal? Do I just need to give it some time or did I make a mistake somewhere? Any advice anyone can offer would be appreciated. Thanks

Your site isn't showing up because it doesn't have any links to it. (assuming you mean the site in your profile) It is in Google's index, but Google uses the number of links from other websites as a very important factor in ranking your site. Because no one is linking to you, your site isn't ranking.

What to do? You need to find other sites willing to link to you. There is a section here called "link development" that deals with this.
