is wise to use such facilities

ive been a web developer for around 4 years now so have never got invloved in the nitty gritty of search engine rankings.

ive just taken up a new job and my first task was to re-vamp an entire website, we are using shop building software which is flexible so i can add keywords etc.

One thing i was wondering was, is it wise to trust page critics such as WebCEO and web position gold?

or, is it best to just research until ya cant research no more on getting to the top.

There was a time when that software was incredibly effective, and I still think there are some good "pointers" in there, but I wouldn't take the feedback as gospel.

I would heavily research this forum for tips and tricks. Also consider Search Engine Watch.
