Hello

I've just noticed that Yahoo (slurp) and MSN (msnbot) haven't updated their database regarding my sites for months. To the contrary, Google updates its database almost once a week as it seems.

I've created subdomains for my sites and they were taken into account by Google very quickly with no problem. Nothing from Yahoo and NSN.

The meta tag "revisit-after" was set to 2 days from the very begining of my sites.

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks for helping! :)

No that is basically how it works. They do this because they have a system in place that you can pay to have it done quicker. For yahoo it is Overture site match.

Ok ... I see :)
This is pure logic :)

So, will those spiders automatically update their database concerning my site within the next three months or do I have to ask them to do it by doing a free link submission?

It would not hurt to do a free submission. It should not take too long to get into Y with your home page but internal pages take forever sometimes. Get more quality backlinks to help. Some page may never get in there.
