Each page has a link to itself on it!

Can this mess things up?

If a search engine finds a page that has a link to itself on it
will it index the page anyway?
I made a bunch of webpages and put a list of links to all
of them on each and don't want to go through them
all to remove the link that links to the same page the list is on
(am I making sense?)

Is it OK to just leave them this way?

Lizzie, I usually do that and call it "HOME" I don't think that it will hurt.

Thanks, I can't bear the thought of editing these
anymore!

I do this on nearly every site - it certainly doesn't seem to hurt. I think the benefits of heavy internal linking will far outweigh any possible problem that it could cause.
