Hi everyone - just a quick question about navigation bars. Am trying to make my site easier to navigate and although I have a simple navigation bar, am looking into replacing it with a navigatioon bar with drop down options - effectively having a site map on each page. Is this something that would be read by search engine spiders and would create more internal links?
Would be grateful for any input!
Thanks

dont know the specific answer re crawlability but if you want to include drop downs its imho not a bad solution to leave static navigation in place also.

So if mouseover on "products"

produced menu options "widget1", "widget2", "........

clicking on "products" itself would still produce a page with the options widget1, widget2, ........ listed as simple html links on it.
