I was wondering if affiliate links have a negative effect on PR and SER.
If it does, would it be good to mask the links?

This is a good question. The response to this question has been mixed in the past. My personal feelings is that it is best to mask your affiliate links with some kind of dynamic redirect script. Not because the affiliate links will hurt your PR or SERPS, but because programs like Norton Ad Blocker will hide any images or text that appears within affiliate links.

I've got Norton installed and it doesn't block my Amazon affiate iframes.
Do you have other experiences?
