how to build up

i´m building up a link- and branch-catalogue, but i am undecided about the best way to promote this.

Has anyone build up something similar an can help me here?

Thats a very big project.

Have a look at yahoo and dmoz (yahoo is probably better in my books).

It's a lot of work though they say.

thats right ... but my project isnt nearly as much as big as ODP or Yahoo, its specialized to a specific subject.

How to get linkpop is generally no problem. My problem here is, that the subject of this project isnt very popular in the internet right now. So I have my probs to get the people, which should write in to it.

So how can i reach these people who arent very aktiv in the internet, but would generally profit from this project... how can i teach them their advantage of the participation of this project.

I was submitting 8 month ago my website to DMOZ but still it has not been liste. The same happened to 2 other websites which I registered later.

So I submitted it again 2 month ago, but still nobody seems to link it up. What can I do to make the person at DMOZ who take care of the category make working?
