Just say you were struck dumb by a freak accident and lost all of your SEO abilities, and you need to build a new website from scratch.

You are forced to employ someone else to do everything. What would you be spending your money on, and in what order or priority?

I would first off make sure that the website is designed using a template which allows for the quick and easy creation of hundreds of thousands of pages. I would obtain a backlink from a site of at least Pr8 and which is a legitimate PR 8 with lots of pages, content and backlinks. Then, while i am creating as many pages as possible, i would wait for google to pick up my site from the Pr 8 site before pursuing any other back links unless the other backlinks are PR 6 or above. Keep in mind that a single link from a strong PR 8 site can immediately give your site a PR 7.

let me add--- the single link from the pr 8 site would most likely have to be a Run of Site link from all pages within the site, including the home page.

OK, this is something that has confused my on this forum for a while (excuse my ignorance) but how do you create 100,000 pages of content without duplication and without using a random word generator?

It has become clear that some duplication of content is okay so long as the page is not dominated by duplication. Also, templates can be used merely as a a border for the pages. There would perhaps be unique content in the middle of the pages ( though it doesn't have to be much) you could even use google adwords advertising for some of the content. [snip]

I can also give you an example of a pr 8 site that has produced many Pr 7 sites with only a link from the Pr 8 site. The only catch is that the PR8 site charges $750.00 a month for the run of site links.

If I may be so rude to interrupt the party, tristo, please be a white hat. Just as you wouldn't (I assume) go peeing on your neighbor's house or screaming at old ladies as they cross the street or turning up the music to full volume when your housemate says he has a headache, you also shouldn't pollute the world with spam.

It's definitely possible to create an excellent site with 100,000 pages. This is one such example. But 95%+ of these sites are produced by the detritus of society and contribute nothing to humanity. They are pure spam.

Instead, please come up with a real idea, one that makes a valuable contribution to the web and is worth visiting by real human beings, not simply so that they can click on the ads in desperation to get off your stupid site. You'll find it a lot easier to look yourself in the mirror in the morning knowing that you are making money the honest way.

Never fear Diamond Girl, my ideas are good and I'll tell you now that they will never crack the 100,000 page mark. (Unless a forum takes off.)

Thanks for the resposes guys.
