Hello there.

I find it always very troublesome to promote my free websites. I don't want to spend money. Thats might be the major point. However, there are free site everybody knows. They just go around the in days. And they are non commercial sites I guess its just like playing in the lottery.

This time I want to promote my website [snip]. I think its a realy cool site. However it takes a lot of effort and time if there is no budget.

Please give me your ideas, thoughts, links etc.
(please no "Submit to 1000 Sites Affiliate Links :), we already know they dont work )

Do I need a budget? If yes, how much should I invest? and where should I invest.

Thanks for helping

Thanks a lot

Michael

You need to have a budget if you want to quick start things.. Budget of atleast 100-200$.

But if you insists on saving money, you need to have some patience then.. and start submitting from DMOZ, and other free resources..

Become editors at few directories, namely JoeAnt, Skaafe.. and build excellent content..
Request for link exchanges, rely on good on site optimization and whenever someone links you, check if your IBL contains proper anchor text..

Best of Luck

Thanks SEOGuy.

It would be ok for me to invest 300US$.

There is so much trash out there, it can make you realy lost. I personally think 300US$ is just pocket money if you want to promote a site.

What you think is the best way for 300$

Thanks
