I am a new Amazon merchant and would like better results but so far it is worth the money and time. The feed took a lot of work for me. Froogle and shopping.com a piece of cake relatively speaking. I am not Xhtml enabled just populating a database, exporting and uploading manually. Alot of opportunity to seo but not much / any guidance that I have found (full extent of advice fill out the 5 keyword fields). On the highest volume, (general web) term and largest result set on amazon I am on the 3rd page, on the first page I think the results would rock my world. Just 2000 and some results when narrowed down to my (non book) category, but I have no idea what would help. I would love some insight into how their sorts work for featured and on sale as well.

In my experience not many big SEO people deal with Amazon. There is easier money to be made (and at a higher profit margin). Before you start going SEO crazy with Amazon ask yourself which products will you sell. Then what is your commission, probably 5%. Then how much time and energy will it take to do proper SEO for this 5%.

Hi,

I am not an affiliate, selling my products doing my own fullfilment, (not books) on amazon. They take a commission on my sales.
