I have just found a website that has several pages of content that is a blatant keyword spamming attempt to get higher SERPs and promote their own site above mine. Without naming the URL (where you would see how obvious it was) the only example i can make is:

My URL: www.keyword1-myname1myname2.com
Theirs: www.keyword1-blah-blah-blah.com/keyword1-myname1myname2.htm

Although this doesnt show much it displays the fact that 'myname' is relevant to my site and its content and they have used it to get a good position for a search on it as its become a well known phrase for the area. The page itself is just padded with the same keywords and no info.

Any ideas how to stop these scum? I have written to Google for advice and am amazed how they can rank these blatant spammers.

If you have trademarked your name you could have your attorney send them a cease-and-desist letter demanding they stop using your intellectual property. Then, if they don't comply, sue them.

Is there anywhere in Google or an address where I can report such activities. This site has absolutely no information on any of the keywords it has used, just a link off to an affiliate site. There must be some kind of policy against this in *G*.

Just goes to show that its not really 'human edited' afterall!
