We use includes for the navigation. Does this have an impact on the rankings? What about placement of the head content?

See www.acterna.com

Thanks,

Paul

Welcome To WmW Paul,

I have never found the spiders to look badly on includes.

Includes are processed server side so the spiders don't even see them. As the doc says - 'I have never found the spiders to look badly on includes.'

We use SSI for title tags, metas, footer site links and more for larger sites with no apparent affects. As they are called up when the file is requested on the server it comes over as normal html. The advantage to us is that we can tinker with the title tags from one point and see how ratings are affected.

Yanton, are you using .shtml file extensions? Just curious.
