Can't find my site in any SE

No matter what keywords I use...

I have a site that is PR5 on the homepage...
W3C validated OK...

But no matter what keywords I attempt to use, I can't pull it up in google or yahoo...unless of course I type in something ridiculous like the entire site name or my entire description. And all I'm looking for is top 20 - 30 listings...

[No site review requests please]...help!

jimshu79,

How competitive is your market and keywords. A Pr5 and a valid HTML code won't get you at the top of the search engine alone, you have to wirte good content, build an well thought link structure (within your site and form other sites) and also check that you did all that is suggested by Brett in this thread:

[webmasterworld.com...]
and this one
[webmasterworld.com...]

They may be a bit old but are still very good starting point to give you the basis of SEO.
